EPIC ROCKS was a fashion and rock show highlighting 7 local boutiques, more than 40 models, an eight-piece band, dancers and singers. More than 200 VIP guests and 600 general admission guests attended the event.

I took the lead on this project when I assumed the role of Interim Director of The Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce’s young professional group EPIC Toledo.

Working with the then-Chamber Vice President, we raised more than $60,000 in sponsorship for this event and made $75,000.

I coordinated and facilitated many creative meetings with vendors, wardrobe and and talent. I also secured garment loans from the boutiques, which involved personal visits, phone calls, emails, and more.

The show was choreographed by a local talent agency, Star Bound Entertainment Group, and I was involved in the selection of music and other talent, determination of the themes, rehearsals, media releases, injury waivers and payroll.

Beyond the planning and execution of the show, I produced more than 25 individual graphic pieces including billboards, folded invitations, flyers, posters, the Toledo Blade ad campaign and other sundry pieces. I also wrote all the print and web copy related to the event.

I contracted with the printers, lighting engineers, and ticket sales.

Before the show began, we worked with our presenting sponsor PNC to salute survivors of breast cancer. We provided the web platform for nominations and some choreography for the women who had the opportunity to walk the runway of a model and be recognized.
